Surf and Silence

—I’m Lindsey. Welcome! So glad that you’re here.

This site documents my journey as a mother, wife and novice sailor, educating, exploring, reflecting, creating and making a mess of things aboard our 45′ catamaran, Luckie Charm.

To date, my family and I have been living full-time on our boat. The crew includes David, husband and fearless captain, Harper, our brilliant and salty 8-year-old daughter, Charlie the sweetest boat dog, and me, the teacher, the chef, the chief conductor of all things that do not keep the boat afloat. But I’m learning.
